The Fellowship Society of Charleston

A benevolent organization founded in 1762 by Edward Weyman and friends.

Although ancient in existence, it is modern in idea and carries upon its rolls the young and old of all nationalities and religious backgrounds bonded together with but one aim in view; the preservation of its traditions and charity to fellow-members in sickness and distress.

These fundamental maxims of non-Sectarianism and charity animated its founders in 1762, and have continued to inspire and direct their successors in the administration of the sacred trust down to the present day and we confidently hope will continue to do so, as long as it endures.
